We had the sweetest 4th of July as a family. I love reliving our day through photographs. These will someday be core memories for our kiddos!
I have such a heart for holidays and celebrations. The 4th of July is always such a special one for our fam. Summertime is in full swing, soaking in the essence of childhood and long summer days all in one.
For the 4th we enjoyed swimming and playing in the backyard, a golf cart ride to the neighborhood parade, fireworks, time around our fire pit, yummy food, tons of sunshine, and laughs. There was face painting for the kids and all things red white and blue — from our clothes, to decor, to food, and more!
These are the moments I always imagined as a little girl. Having a family of my own and making things special and memorable for our children. It’s amazing to see how much the kiddos grow year to year. As our big kids are entering teen years I can’t help but feel that it’s such a special season.
Mamas to little ones, I promise you — there’s so much magic in these “big kid” years. I remember mourning the baby stage and being sad to see how quickly they all grow. As you pour your heart into your little ones, you’re going to see that the teen years have so much sweetness waiting for you!
We are ready to experience more summer days around the pool and many more adventures before school starts! The 4th was a highlight of our summer so far, and we can’t wait to keep making memories together.
XO,
Casey Wiegand
