Home Upgrades

All of this warm sunny weather has us soaking in outdoor time! I am here to share more of our latest renovation adventures. Since moving into our new home, we have been hard at work transforming both the inside and outside spaces into our dream oasis.I’m excited to share our progress with our outdoor home upgrades, which have been our main focus this year!

Pool Transformation

Our pride and joy in our backyard transformation is our dream pool. So much planning and patience have gone into this! We added a built-in fire pit and hot tub to make the pool feel like a backyard getaway. After what felt like quite the process, our pool has finally been filled with water, and we wasted no time jumping in for our first swims over the past few days. It has been such a dream!

To add to the poolside experience, we’ve decorated the area with vibrant blue umbrellas, offering shade from the sun’s rays while adding a pop of color to the scenery. Our little ones have been beyond thrilled with the new floats, and we’ve all been loving our new lounge chairs. Just soaking it all in!!

Backyard DIY Projects

Beyond the pool, we’ve been tackling various projects throughout our backyard. With a focus on home upgrades that add value and home upgrades on a budget, we’ve been resourceful and creative to make our outside feel upgraded as well.

My talented husband, Chris, has been taking on many of these projects, channeling the knowledge he gained from his dad’s carpentry skills during his upbringing. From crafting walkways to designing flower beds, his DIY skills have truly shone through! I couldn’t be prouder of his hard work and dedication to creating an inviting outdoor space for our family to enjoy.

Elevated Curb Appeal

The transformation in our front area is under process, but has come a LONG way! We’ve embraced simplicity and elegance by incorporating beautiful walkways that guide visitors to our front door, creating a warm and inviting feeling right from the moment they step foot on our property. These upgrades not only enhance the curb appeal of our home and more and more it is feeling like ours!

Enjoying Our Home Upgrades As They Come Together

With our four kids currently on summer break, this outdoor haven has become a hub of adventure and so much laughter and time spent together. From endless hours in the pool, roasting marshmallows by the fire pit, we’re savoring every moment together.

As we eagerly watch our outdoor oasis come together, we can’t help but feel a wave of excitement for the summer ahead. We’ve learned that home upgrades can sometimes be stressful, but are truly about creating memories together. Our journey of home renovations has been a testament to the power of having vision, working with a great team and also knowing how much of a difference can be made by DIY projects, showing that with a little creativity and determination, anything is possible.
