Powder Bathroom Reveal

I’m excited to reveal possibly the most fun corner of our home! Our downstairs powder bathroom really took on a life of its own, I love how much personality is in here, and how bold we went with the design choices!

I think a powder bathroom is a perfect area to go BOLD! Your guests will all get to see it, yet it’s tucked away from the main living area. I knew I wanted pink in here, and we opted for a hot pink and bold pattern for our powder bathroom design.

Make A Statement With A Bold Powder Bathroom

This powder bathroom wallpaper really is a statement. I love the hot pink alligators, especially since we have lots of reptiles and amphibians! This print and color alone really make the room. As you can see the vanity is simple and timeless with marble counters and white cabinetry. The lighting, hardware, and powder bathroom mirror are also timeless.

I figured down the road if we decide to change things, or for resale, changing out wallpaper is no big deal. The bones are still classic and fit the style of our home, I loved this when looking at powder bathroom ideas half baths. This Dolly Parton print is dear to my heart! I fell in love with it at a flea market but ended up leaving it behind (or so I thought) when we got home I kept telling my husband, Chris, that I was having FOMO on missing out on buying the piece. Little did I know Chris had gotten it for me without me having a clue! When he brought it in I was SO happy. I really think it makes this room!

Tips For A Bold Powder Bathroom

+ Pick a color palette  +

Dark and moody or bright and bold would both be fun options to set your powder room apart! You can do this with paint or powder bathroom ideas wallpaper! This is really fun for powder room ideas modern.

This is huge! Find a unique piece (or several for a grouping) and add some art for interest in your powder room decor.

+ Accessories make a difference +

+ Keep the main expensive aspects neutral +

you don’t have to do this, but I find it helps if you ever want to change things. Keeping the counters and cabinetry vanity similar to the rest of the home helps this room for better with the rest of our house!
