When it comes to home decor, nothing lights me up more than designing my kid’s bedrooms. I put so much of my heart into making sure that each of their spaces are a reflection of them and are a place that they will feel comfortable, safe, creative, and loved in! Little girls bedroom spaces really have my heart! There’s such a sweetness to them, and I feel like my inner child becomes giddy just picking things out and styling their spaces!
Recently we did a bit of a refresh in Apple’s room. She had an absolutely gorgeous bed that I loved the look of, but this is the perfect example of being flexible in design and noticing how you live each day to make your home work for you! Apple’s bed ended up being too big for her and the space. She didn’t need such a large bed, and it was taking up too much room! So we sold her gorgeous bed, and went for something smaller — yet still beautiful!
We LOVE the flow of her room now, Apple is so happy with this change and I see her enjoying her room all the more, so we are really glad that we took the leap and went this way. Her bedding is so super cozy and I love the oversized look of it on her new bed — extra cozy and pillowy!
This white bed frame is the perfect fit!
I’m so happy that Apple is in love with her space again, and that everything is the perfect fit for her!
Speaking of little girl bedroom, we’ve been adding Christmas throughout the home and I am truly in love with Adelaide’s sweet space! Garlands swagged over her windows and the most whimsical little tree for her room. It makes my heart so happy to see her with a room that she adores and with the touches of Christmas she feels extra special.
To her flocked tree I added a soft red skirt, fun large ball lights, candle lights that clip on, some ornaments and beaded garland, and a gold tree star. Another sweet option would be this pink wreath!
Her room is so lovely day or night now with all of the twinkling lights!
I can’t speak highly enough about how wallpaper can transform a space. Wallpaper in my little girl’s room is truly just the finishing touch that pulls it all together. Go with something floral for an extra playful and girly vibe! Little girls bedroom wallpaper is never a bad idea! You could also do a wallpaper accent wall and the rest of the room in sweet little girls bedroom paint colors. There are so many fun little girls bedroom paint ideas!
Add vintage where you can! Either family heirlooms or check Facebook marketplace, flea markets, antique stores, local donation stores etc. A vintage dresser or nightstands are the perfect touch. Little vintage floral art is adorable and really adds character. Little girls bedroom decor with a vintage touch is extra sweet.
Elevated curtains or Roman shades, beautiful bedding and fun sheets like these heart pattern sheets, throw pillows like this sweet cloud pillow, throw blankets, fun and cozy rugs (layering these is a great option!) you can be playful with patterns, but coordinate colors and tones throughout. This adds such a layer of coziness!
A simple way to make huge impact! A pretty chandelier, fun lamps, twinkling lights/ any string lights, task lamps can all make such a cozy vibe in a bedroom space! I love this gold standing lamp!
Another sweet accessory I love is this pink clock!
All of these ideas work for little girls bedroom ideas toddlers as well! Or any theme like little girls bedroom ideas rainbow, little girls bedroom ideas unicorn, little girls bedroom ideas boho or little girls bedroom ideas princess!
Creating a special space takes time! Don’t feel that you have to get everything all at once, adding some of these touches over time will make all the difference!
