Book Tease (My New Book)

A forever dream of mine is becoming reality, and it brings me such joy to share this here with you! As a former teacher and a lover of reading, I could not be more excited to announce that I am writing a children’s book!

This story has been a long time in the making, and growing in my heart over time. The main character is inspired by my three girls. I named her AnneMarie — which feels like a nod to my three a-name daughters and has always been a name that was on my list if we had another girl!

There are other special pieces of my kiddos and our family in this book, throughout the illustrations. If you know our story, I hope that you find joy in recognizing these things that mean so much to me. You may even see my grandma’s very special blue stove — something that I truly adore and have carried with us from home to home.

The book aesthetic is a true reflection of my art and the spaces that I create for my children. Soft pastels, florals, fun colors and a whimsical feel adorn each page as book art, that I hope will be on bookshelves for generations to come!

The true essence of AnneMarie’s story is something that I have always been intentional about instilling within my own children. The value of kindness, of knowing your own worth, of fighting through fear to share your gifts and light with the world.
