Sweet Summer Memories

Sweet Summer Memories

This summer has been extra sweet, so we are feeling really sad to see it come to an end. We love being together as a family, and summer is always a time that we savor!

Settling Into Our New Home

One of our highlights from this summer have been settling more into our home. We’ve began projects outside, and we’ve all really began to embrace our house as a home.

It’s been so lovely to get to use our kitchen and art room — spaces that we were patiently waiting to be completed. So many sweet memories of making breakfast together, and lots of summer crafts and art projects.

Summer Travels

We’ve also loved some of our travel, though we stuck around a bit more this year than others, we still managed to attend family camp, and to have an epic end of summer trip to California, complete with a visit to Disneyland.

Cherishing This Time Together

I truly believe that time spend together as a family, really soaking in each moment, made this summer extra sweet. Even though we are sad to see it go, we really lived in the moment. Cherishing this sweet summer season with my kiddos allowed us to get the most out of this season.

I am forever grateful for this family of ours, and for the chance to get to know each of our children more deeply as they grow. It’s going to be hard to send the girls off to school, but I’m thankful for every moment that we had this summer together!
