Celebrating 15 Years Of Marriage

We had the most wonderful end of summer trip to California, and I’m still reliving so many of the precious memories made! We wove family time in with some alone time for Chris and I, and it was the perfect balance!

Malibu Memories

Chris and I are celebrating 15 years of marriage! We were away on a work trip during our actual anniversary, so we planned a trip to celebrate this milestone together. The anniversary trip started off in Orange County, my parents have a home there. We left the kiddos there to spend time with their grandparents. They had a blast! All of the fun summer things, and lots of quality time together.

Chris and I headed to Malibu, one of our favorite places in the world! Truly, we were thinking of all different ideas for our trip, and finally decided that heading back to Malibu was what we really wanted. We love the home that we stay there, right on the water. There’s nothing like the ocean crashing right below you.

Malibu has so much to offer, gorgeous beaches, hikes, the most beautiful sunsets and natural beauty, so many fun areas to explore, great restaurants, and a close proximity to explore all of LA when you want to!

Chris and I walked Malibu Pier, ate at Malibu Farm, went to Malibu country mart (so many cute restaurants, shops, cafes — everything you could want here!), had yummy dinners out, and soaked in the ocean air right from our deck.

A Sweet Surprise

One of the nights we were in town, Chris surprised me on the beach at sunset. He got me the most gorgeous wedding band and engagement ring. Truly more than I ever could have dreamed of! It was such a special moment, that I will never forget. I was completely surprised and have been staring at it ever since.

Grateful For These Years

I can’t put into words how grateful I am for Chris, for these 15 years, for all of the ways that we’ve grown together. In marriage, in parenthood — in doing life side by side. There’s no one that I’d want to do life with.

After our anniversary trip, we scooped up the kiddos and headed to Disneyland! More on that soon! But all in all it was the most magical trip!
