10 Best Maui Spots To Visit

Our trip to Maui was what dreams are made of! Maui is one of those must-see destinations, that is filled with such magic that it changes you. No matter how many visits we make to Hawaii, we could never soak in all of the beauty, there is something new to explore around every turn!

Our trip to Maui was a celebratory trip with our company Young Living. We had such a wonderful time catching up with friends and experiencing all that was planned for us to enjoy together. Chris and I also took time away just the two of us, on our own excursions and to take in some of the local favorites. I am forever grateful for this time that we had together, and for a company that sees its people and brings us together in such beautiful ways.

Enjoy Maui’s Spectacular Beauty

Maui is Hawaii’s largest island, and is filled with spectacular natural beauty — from waterfalls, to volcanic mountains, black sand beaches, and ocean views that take your breath away. There is unique wildlife, and so much that feels like a different world. Chris and I were both in our glory with our shared love for photography, and Chris’s passion for videography and film making. The drone footage that he took was jaw-dropping, and we were really excited to show our kiddos!

Having explored the Island, we put together some of our must-do favorite spots. There’s so much to see and do, so be sure to plan ahead so that you aren’t missing anything that you’d really like to see.

Our 10 Best Maui Must-Do List:

1. Road to Hana

I’ve shared more details here on the blog, but this road trip was a memory that I won’t soon forget. Do everything from visiting waterfalls, hiking (some of the best Maui hikes!), seeing black rock beaches, some of the best Maui beaches, a blow hole and more! 2. Lahaina Beach

A beautiful beach to relax on, something that I love about Hawaii in general, is that you could spend each day of your visit on a totally different style of beach – there are lots of options!

3. Haleakala National Park

An absolute must, with so much natural beauty to witness. Take in everything from a dormant volcano to a beautiful wilderness area. Where your hiking shoes!

4. Kihei Beaches

A beachfront town with laid back vibes. Numerous beaches and plenty of options for families.

5. Papa’aina Restaurant

Creative farm-to-table food with delicious Hawaiian flavors. Definitely worth a visit to one of the best Maui restaurants!

6. Ka’ana Kitchen

Located in Wailea, this upscale dinner spot blends Hawaiian flavors with modern American dishes. Such pretty plates and great for a date night!

7. Akamai Coffee

Located in Kihei this spot has delicious coffee that is Maui grown and roasted. Seasonal drinks include macadamia and other Hawaiian flavors.

8. Mama’s Fish House

A beautiful beachside location in Paia. Hawaii/ Tiki Hut vibes with delicious seafood and authentic local favorites like poke, and entrees cooked in ti leaf.

9. Attend a Luau

Often resorts have the ability to book a Luau or have them on the premises. We enjoyed our evening so much, watching local dancers, sampling delicious food, listening to Hawaiian music and really feeling part of everything at the best Maui Luau. It’s fun to take this all in and to soak in vacation in a place that is unique from home.

10. Take an Adventure (snorkeling, hiking, or zip lining!)

Again, you could check with a resort for this, there are many best Maui resorts with options! There are so many adventurous options to do while in Hawaii, search for some of the best Maui excursions. Snorkeling is a favorite, with such beautiful ocean and natural habitats here in Hawaii.
