Oh, to be back in Hawaii again! Truly one of the most magical places on earth, the beauty is astounding and takes your breath away.

We were so grateful to take this trip with Young Living! It was a dream come true to travel with Chris, and to have so many of our dear friends there too!

One of our favorite parts of our entire trip was taking the Road to Hana. Chris got gorgeous drone footage, and the entire day was gorgeous and so very photogenic. We followed along with the GyPSy guide and pulled stops from Pride of Maui.

If you aren’t familiar, Road to Hana is known as one of the world’s most scenic drives, and it absolutely lives up to the hype! It’s a great sightseeing activity if you’re looking to spend a day exploring. There are beaches, waterfalls, bamboo forests, stunning views, lava rock formations and more!

1. Plan your Road to Hana route ahead of time.

There are multiple options. We researched this on The GyPSy app.  Use a Road to Hana map and mark down stops for ease of travel.

2. Start your Road To Hana trip out early to beat the crowds!

This is a super popular attraction, the earlier you can head out the better.

3. Pack according to activities, you may want to both hike, visit a beach and more.

Pack a bag with any clothing, or outfit an activity needs.

4. Have your camera and phones charged up and bring external chargers.

There is no shortage of options for gorgeous photo and video options! Our photos are stunning and ones that I am sure to frame!

5. Make a list of your must see.

From Hamoa Beach, Hana Bay, Twin Falls, the O’heo pools, rainbow eucalyptus,

6. Know that this is a long distance drive!

If you plan to start at Paia, make your way all the way to the Ohea Pools, and return this can be upwards of 8+ hours! Especially when you plan for Road to Hana backwards.

7. Make advanced reservations if you plan to visit the famous Black Sand beach.

8. Pack snacks and drinks, spots to stop are few and far between.
