Maui Hawaii Trip

Reflecting on our time in Maui Hawaii washes waves of gratitude over me. This trip was soul filling and truly the experience of a lifetime, one that I will never forget!

It is not lost on me that just eight years ago, I said yes to a company that changed the trajectory of our family’s lives. Young Living is so much more than essential oils (though we love our oils!) it’s more than clean products in our home (though I’d be lost without them)…

A Life forever changed!

For us YL has been this opportunity to open many doors for us. I’ve met so many of my favorite people, strengthened bonds of friendship, grown my own businesses from the financial freedom that this company has given to me. One of my very favorite parts of this opportunity has been all of the trips and travel!

What are Diamond Trips with Young Living?

I have the heart of a dreamer and explorer, and though it can sometimes be really hard for me to leave my kiddos to travel, I see such a light in me when I get to experience these trips. We went to Hawaii with Young Living as a Diamond and up retreat. YL has a special trip each year for all diamonds and up within the company.

What an absolute dream it is for me, now to have so many women who have said yes to me along the way, also qualify for this trip of a lifetime! Obviously there is sooo much work behind each of us- but its the best kind..work helping others! To be there to celebrate many of my best friend’s accomplishments has been such a gift to my heart. Sometimes I am at a loss for words to share this opportunity, and it’s moments like this that I think speak for themselves.

Falling for Maui Hawaii (what to plan for your Maui trip)

We fell head over heels for Maui, and having Chris by my side to experience this all was true magic! We stayed at a beautiful resort, with an ocean view suite. YL was super generous, gifting us with swag and special vacation items. We enjoyed special meals with friends, experiences (lei making, Hawaiian dancers, local food), and so much
more from Young Living!

The amazing part about doing this business with friends, is that we often get to travel together! I love that many of our husbands have also formed bonds — going not these trips year after year, the sweetest friendships have blossomed!

We had many special memories made during our time in Hawaii. Some of the highlights (including Maui Hawaii things to do) for me:

+ Walking the beach+

Walking the beach outside of our hotel at sunset, watching sailboats as the sky turned shades of pink and orange (just like many of my maui hawaii outfits that I packed!). I made sure to pack along some of my favorite sunglasses! Truly such a dreamy Maui Hawaii aesthetic! For beach days and casual time spent outside by the water I made sure to bring along a favorite swimsuit and these Amazon sandals (such a good deal!).

+ All of the yummy Maui Hawaii food!+

From Hawaiian rolls with honey butter, to pork with rice, to THE most delicious shave ice and snow cones! Top of the list might just be all of the fresh fruit and acaii served up inside of a papaya — truly what dreams are made of! I loved packing easy breezy accessories to take a simple outfit from daytime to dinner. This necklace stack did the trick!

+ Seeing all of the natural beauty!+

Maui has so much natural beauty. Beautiful waterfalls, gorgeous beaches of sand, and black rocks. There were pink flamingos at a koi pond, the Nakelele blow hole (such a neat experience!), twin falls, hikes surrounded by rainbow eucalyptus trees, the garden of eden arboretum. We were even lucky to see a double rainbow over the ocean right from the balcony of our room! Talk about Maui hawaii photography of dreams! Seriously, the beauty here is indescribable and something to marvel at! It was a great idea to take this backpack along on our trip!

+ Time with Chris and with friends!+

The biggest highlight of all. Getting back together to celebrate these people that I hold so dearly was just what my soul needed! I was sure to pack a few favorite rompers and overalls. I love these three as they were simple to pack, don’t take up much space, and were easy one piece outfits orange dress romper, blue dress romper, romper overalls.

The whole trip I honestly felt flooded with gratitude. Gratitude for these precious friends, for this opportunity, for all of the countless ways that this company has impacted our lives. Spending time in such a beautiful place together with Chris was the perfect way to connect and to unwind from a hectic year of moving in and remodeling!

If you ever have the chance for a maui hawaii vacation, I highly recommend going for it! This place has such a special place in my heart.
