It’s been such a joy to work on each of our kiddos’ spaces during our remodel process! Along with their bedroom designs, I put a lot of focus into making their bathrooms feel special, and like a reflection of each of them! We’ve recently made progress on Ainsleigh’s bathroom remodel, and I’m excited to share all of the bathroom remodel ideas with you!
Each of our children have their own bathroom connected to their bedroom, and they are so grateful to have this space to call their own! Choosing Ainsleigh’s bathroom finishes was a really enjoyable process for me, as I could really picture her growing into this space!
Ainsleigh is our oldest daughter, and the teen years aren’t that far off. As much as sometimes this can make my heart ache, it also makes my heart excited for all of the special moments of her growing into a young woman, and having this beautiful space to get ready for school, for dances, for fun outings with her friends! I can’t believe we are approaching this stage and all that comes along with being a mama to three daughters!
I was sure to include a special built in vanity space for Ainsleigh. Whether she’s doing her hair or as she grows into learning how to do her makeup, I thought that a counter space with a stool to pull up and a large mirror would be perfect for her!
Ainsleigh also has lots of drawer space for toiletries, her shower favorites, and anything hair or makeup that she might want to store in the future.
Since each kiddos’ room has an ensuite bathroom, I felt it important to carry design elements from their bedroom into their bathroom. For Ains, this meant bringing in blue! We both LOVE the blue that is woven through many aspects of her bedroom, so bringing blue into her bathroom tile, towels, and a few accessories felt like the perfect match!
I love that we mixed metal finishes in Ainsleigh’s bathroom. Don’t shy away from doing this! I truly feel like brass and silver tones work well together. I’ve also fallen for the way that black and brass finishes can coordinate with one another. For Ainsleigh’s bathroom she has brass lighting and cabinet hardware, with silver tones on her sink faucet and shower hardware. I really feel that this has a collected and timeless look to it.
Her lighting mixes a crystal/ lucite look with brass — also a winning combination that keeps her bathroom remodel modern! We kept cabinet color, tile shape, and countertops neutral and transitional. I appreciate timeless design, that will continue to feel beautiful and up to date for many years to come.
I went accessory shopping for Ainsleigh’s bathroom and am sharing links to some of my favorites as well! Adding in towels, a makeup mirror, dishes and trays, florals, a bench, mirrors and more added the perfect finishing touches to complete her space.
Many of the ideas from Ainsleigh’s space could also be incorporated into rooms that are different than hers, like bathroom remodel on a budget, bathroom remodel small, and bathroom remodel with tub!
Most important of all is that Ainsleigh loves her bathroom, and that her bedroom and bath are a reflection of her and a space that she feels comfortable to grow into!
My girls’ bathrooms have all been recently renovated, so I’ve been stocking them up on all of the essentials! These are a few of my favorite finds from Amazon!
You can find the cute little girl bathroom rug, the adorable towels and more kid bath accessories all HERE!
