February calls for all of the sweet treats to share with your sweetheart!
I love holidays, all things festive, and celebrating the little moments in life. I grew up with a mom who always went the extra mile to make us feel special, and to add magic to every holiday and special moment.
It has been my heart to carry on these traditions and to do the same for our kiddos. I always want them to have fond memories to hold onto surrounding every holiday and special celebration.
Valentine’s Day is a favorite in our home, my girls especially get excited! We love adding hearts, roses, fun banners and cute decor around our home. Even though we are still settling in, we are adding some festive touches for Valentine’s Day.
I’m looking forward to a cozy February, spring will be here before we know it, so I am embracing the end of winter, and this slower season. I love when we are home together and can enjoy our house and making memories in our new space.
We’ll enjoy plenty treats and special recipes for Valentine’s Day, but this one has me extra excited! I’m a big milkshake lover, and my kids can’t pass them up either. This is one of my favorite recipes for truly dreamy Valentine’s Day Shakes!
Recipe makes ONE Valentine’s milkshake, multiply for however many you’d like to make!
5 scoops of ice cream (I used strawberry flavored!)
1/2 cup of milk
Handful of strawberries
Add ice cream, milk, & strawberries to a blender. Blend until smooth.
BEFORE pouring milkshake into cup, rim your cup with icing (to make sprinkles stick) and dip cup into sprinkles.
Pour milkshake into cup
Add whipped cream, more sprinkles, and M&Ms.
Last but not least, add a cute and festive straw!
Be sure to tag me if you try this delicious treat! I’m looking forward to sharing this with my sweet fam!
Wishing you a happy Valentine’s Day!
