It really is a dream come true to be able to start the process of sharing more of our home with you! Renovating this office has been a labor of love, and something that I am filled with such gratitude for!
I’m still very much in the process of adding in decor, searching for the perfect furniture pieces, and layering in more of our belongings, but I want to share these rooms in stages. I’ve loved taking you along for this process, and documenting it for us to look back on over the years.
My office is one of my favorite rooms in our home. The herringbone floors speak to my soul! I just love them so much. For those asking, our floors are by Riva Floors, and we found most of our flooring and tile at Floor & Decor.
I love all of the ornate trim work, and how classic it makes this room feel. The ceilings are one of my favorite office design features.
This room gets BEAUTIFUL window light, which makes it such a joy to hang out in here, work, dream, and plan all of the things! It feels like such a dream to have a fireplace in this space! I’m excited to switch up the mantle seasonally, and of course I love having a ledge to display artwork.
These sconces were the perfect finishing touch to the mantle area, incorporating florals wherever I can, to add feminine whimsy into this space.
I went with a very light and warm gray color, which almost reads as a warmer cream tone. The paint color is called Gray Mist. I love how it changes slightly throughout the day when the light hits it.
Styling all of the shelves will take time, but it’s wonderful to have so much space to work with to add in my favorite pieces and office decor over time. There’s also great storage in the cabinets, to hide any office supplies away when needed.
Having a cozy corner to brainstorm and dream is important to me, and I love how this one came together! This black arched cabinet is from Anthropologie and is one of my favorite pieces. A playful pillow and cozy throw make this corner extra inviting.
My new desk just arrived, and I’m super happy to have so much work space! Office decorating ideas for work and your personal workstyle are important to consider when considering office interior design. For me, I like waking up in the morning before the kiddos, turning on a few lights, filling my diffuser, and coming into my office to get work done and to plan for the day. This quiet time is such a necessity to me, and being able to spend it in such a lovely space is truly a gift!
I so appreciate your encouragement as we make our house into the home! I have loved taking you along on this journey with us and sharing inside peeks into our forever home!
XO,
