New Years Eve and New Years Day are a wonderful time to celebrate and reflect on the past year, and to look forward with anticipation and hopefulness for what is to come! I thought it would be fun to look back at all of our fun new years recipes, diys, and hairstyles!
Our family loves to take it easy, cozy at home, with fun recipes, family games, movies, and togetherness.Anytime that I want to make a New Year celebration whether a simple day at home, or any gathering I love to look back on past recipes and ideas!
I’ve gathered together a round up for you here, with some of my favorite ideas for celebrating the new year! Whether you’re having a new years traditional or something unique and fresh, these all would be fun to try!
I’m always looking for simple ways to dress up recipes for the holidays!
These New Year’s Eve pudding “champagne flutes” are a fun way to be festive with our kids. I love to see their excitement, as we anticipate the new year! These can be New Years appetizers or after New Years dinners for New Years desserts!
Long toothpicks/ skewers and tinsel is all you will need! I put each piece lengthwise and then tied them off around the middle to form a tinsel Pom Pom! Then tie or hot glue to a toothpick or wooden skewer! So simple for festive New Years kids!
These are adorable and were such a hit! Cotton candy, fizzy drinks, with a cute colorful sugar rim! So fun for kids to celebrate the new year!
I’m all about romantic and pretty hair for this New Year’s Eve at home. This year, we will be embracing all of the coziness, while still making everything warm and bright!
Start the New Year off right with these sprinkle milkshakes in mason jars. You can whip up your favorite shake in a blender with some milk and some ice cream, but take it up a notch with these chilled mason jars and rims full of rainbow sprinkles. Your kids’ faces will spread into wide smiles of delight when they see a little splash of whimsy added to theses glasses.
What better way to ring in the New Year than gingersnap cookie shooters for kids?! Spread out some festive dessert boards and toast to 2020 with homemade gingersnap lids, gold striped straws, and a shot of cold milk.
Usher in the new year with a little glitz, a little glam, and a little frosting on top. These sparkly cupcake toppers take a basic vanilla cupcake recipe to new heights with some lollipop sticks and some glitter, so that you can sprinkle some sparkle on any celebration.
What will you be trying for your celebration! Be sure to tag me if you give any of these a shot!!
XO,
Casey Wiegand
