Fall is in the air, and although our home is very much in renovation phase, I am still looking for simple ways to welcome in the season, and to layer in some festivities where we can!
A simple way to incorporate each season, is to make special treats, snacks, and meals that are seasonal! Fall has such yummy food – we love all things pumpkin, cinnamon, and extra cozy!
This fall snack mix for kids has been a big hit, especially because you can make it in large batches and enjoy it for days to come! This would be perfect to make before a cozy weekend at home, a camping trip, for a movie night, or to pack along for a football game or soccer practice snack!
What a better way to welcome in fall than this easy fall snack mix?! Just package with some clear bags and ribbon! So easy! Here are the things we used for this fall mix:
Combine together in a big bowl/ fall snack mix ideas no bake
+ chex cereal
+ dark chocolate chips
+ mini marshmallows
+ Reese’s pieces
+ candy corn
You can also use nuts, raisins, M&Ms, or pretzels! We love this fall snack mix with candy corn! This is more of a sweet mix, but you could also go for a salty fall snack mix recipes or fall snack mix sweet and salty combo!
Rainy day, or just needing a cozy day at home to rest and spend time together? Pick a couple of your favorites and have a double feature!
Make this snack mix together, it’s super easy and involves no cooking, so it’s perfect to have your little ones add each “ingredient” and gently mix it up.
Do you live anywhere near the country or within driving distance? We’ll put on a fall playlist, back some snacks, and hit the road for a peaceful drive. Some of our best conversations happen in the car!
If you live in an area with beautiful changing leaves, take some snacks on the go, bring a cozy blanket, and set up a picnic amongst the fallen leaves.
I love when my kiddos can decorate for me. My girls are so sweet about setting up a seasonal table, or letting their imaginations run wild on crafts that can be used as decorations!
These are just a few simple ideas, but feel free to add in your own family traditions! I have so many special memories from this time of year with family, and I think it’s not so much about what we do, but that we do it together! Our kids will hold these memories so dear someday!
