Staying hydrated, especially in summer months, can sometimes feel like a challenge! I’m always looking for ways to make upping our daily water intake simple and more enjoyable.
We like to keep the hydrating beverages flowing when we are in the backyard by the pool, and I try to change them up with fun flavors, to make the kiddos keep coming back for more. If your kids have a hard time drinking enough water, and you would like to cut down on sugary drinks, try fruit infused water, you might be surprised at how much they love it!
Hydration can impact systems of our body, change the way that we feel, and support our hair, skin and nails. Adding different fruits and herbs can add antioxidants, boost hydration absorption, and make consuming a higher amount of water more simple.
Fruit infused water is an easy way to make beautiful and fresh drinks, to take on the go! Sometimes I’ll make a big pitcher for the fridge to start out the week, letting the fruit steep really enhances the flavor. Another way that we love to enjoy fruit infused water is in a pitcher, carafe, or larger vessel with a spout at a party. It really takes a simple water, and makes it feel more thought out and a little fancy!
I also love taking these on the go in fruit infused water bottle, with fruit infused water bottle recipes. So fun and colorful, and really enjoyable to sip throughout the day! You can add extra ice to keep them cool throughout the day.
I love switching up what we add to our infused water, and I’m sharing my favorite recipe combinations with you here today! Feel free to add as much of each fruit ingredient as you’d like.
