Our Favorite Mommy and Me Swimsuits for 2021

Summer is right around the corner, and time spent hanging by the pool in our backyard is already here! I love matching with my little girls, as I know these years are part of such a short season. I’m soaking it up while it’s here!

I have three little girls, Ainsleigh, Apple, and Adelaide, and I am so grateful that they still want to match with their mama. I’m sharing some of our absolute favorite matching suits that we’ve worn over the years! This is a tradition for us, and it makes my heart so happy.

Mommy And Me Swimsuits

I think it’s sweet to have exact matches, but also fun to get creative with it — you can totally find suits that coordinate, but aren’t an exact match. It’s also sweet to find swim trunks that go well together with the bathing suits, for little boys as well! I also think that mommy and me swimsuits baby edition could be THE most adorable. Nothing quite like a teeny tiny baby in a bathing suit. Swoon! Summer Fun By the Pool

Some of our favorite memories in our current home have been spent out back by our pool. Living in a hotter climate like Texas, we basically live in our yard in the spring and summer! We are so grateful that we will have a pool at our new home, too. Eventually, we would love to relocate it, so that it is in a more central area, near our kitchen and living room. We want to have large windowed doors that lead out to the pool area.

It’s going to take us some time to get everything the way we want it, some are immediate dreams and others we will plan and wait on! Either way, I’m just so happy that pool parties and family BBQs can be a tradition at our new home as well! Just envisioning future summers by the pool, as our kids grow, makes me teary. It really is true that we get 18 summers, and we are cherishing every last one.

Favorite Summer Vacation Travel

I can’t help but dream about some travel resuming for our family. Last year we canceled lots of our favorite trips, and we are eager to get back to some of our most treasured time together. Nantucket and Seaside are at the absolute top of our lists, and you can bet that we will be packing all of our favorite matching swimwear. We also LOVE family camp, and it’s become a tradition for our family. Summer travel is good for the soul, and nothing beats the memories made on these trips together.

Whether in our backyard, or hundreds of miles away at the beach, I plan to be more intentional than ever this summer, to stop and soak in these moments. This year, more than anything, we learned to hold our people extra close and to keep a grateful heart for each new experience that our family has together.
