With Easter right around the corner, we are finding fun ways to celebrate at home. This is a more involved project, but something that will add such a sweet festive touch to your Easter decor!
Supplies:
2 medium size cardboard boxes
1 small cardboard box + an extra box to make the ears, nose, etc.
White spray paint
Pink, black, green, orange paint
Sharpie to make the eyelashes + whiskers
Glue gun
Box cutter
Scissors
Pencil
1.) spray paint boxes
2.) free sketch 1 bunny ear, cut it out, then trace it onto another piece of cardboard (so the ears are the same size!)
3.) draw then cut out eyes, nose, arms, feet, carrot, & a bow (hair bow for a girl/ bow tie for a boy. I ended up using a real bow for this bunny and simply clipped it to her ear!) then paint.
4.) to attach the ears, cut 2 lines in the top of the small box. The ears should slide right in!
5.) trace an oval shape for the bunny’s tummy and paint it pink.
6.) glue the eyes, nose, teeth, arms, feet, & carrot on.
7.) using the sharpie, draw whiskers and eyelashes.
Set out some cute Easter decor like a basket, eggs, and a cute banner! Your little ones will have so much fun with their very own Easter Bunny!!
