Crescent roll sandwiches
Need a last minute recipe for today, I have you covered! This is sure to be a huge hit- absolutely DELICIOUS!
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 can (8 oz each) Pillsbury™ refrigerated crescent dough sheet
8-9 slices deli-sliced ham
1 package (pepperoni slices)
4 square (about 4×4) slices mozzarella cheese
3 TBSP any grated cheese
Heat oven to Bake at 375°F. Spray 9×9-inch square pan with cooking spray. In medium bowl, beat cream cheese and Italian seasoning by hand until well blended.
Unroll 1 dough sheet on work surface; reshape into 9×13 inch rectangle. Carefully spread half of the cream cheese mixture onto dough sheet, to within 1 inch of one of the short ends, leaving room to seal the seams.
Place ham slices evenly on top of cream cheese mixture, and layer with half of the pepperoni slices and cheese slices. Starting on the short topped edge of rectangle, roll up tightly and pinch seam together. Repeat for remaining dough sheet.
With serrated knife, carefully cut each roll into one inch slices, and arrange spiral sides up in baking dish, reshaping into round shapes, if necessary. Sprinkle any grated cheese lightly over the top. With pieces of waxed paper, gently press down on tops of rolls to flatten slightly.
Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown and dough is baked through. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Serve warm.
