5 Tips to Self Care for Mamas
As mamas, it’s easy to get swept up in life and to forget to care for ourselves. You are so worth it. Take the time to do something that helps you to relax, and brings you moments of joy.
Some ideas for self care:
+ Make a playlist that helps you to wind down and uplifts your spirit.
+ When is the last time that you read a good book!? Grab something just for you. Even sneaking just 10 minutes a day to read something that draws you in, can feel so restorative!
+ Speak life over yourself. Read affirmation cards, listen to an uplifting podcast, talk to a friend that forever has kind words for you. Let positive words fill your cup.
+ Make yourself a special beverage! Iced matcha, a fancy coffee, a nice big glass of fruit infused water. There’s nothing like a mug or glass of something cozy to help you reset.
+ Take a moment to pamper yourself, a bath with epsom salts, your skincare routine, fill the diffusers in your home with something spa like. Anything to destress and to make you feel well cared for.
Self care doesn’t have to be fancy.
Even if as far as you can take it are some deep breaths, a glass of water, and some loving words for yourself–know that you are so worthy of that love that you pour out for others!
