DIY NYE Cupcake Toppers

A new year is approaching, and with that we plan to celebrate together as a family! I love to add special touches that make things feel more festive, even when we are just cozy at home!

A few ideas to add a little sparkle to your NYE celebration:

+ DIY cupcake toppers – long toothpicks and tinsel is all you will need! I put each piece lengthwise and then tied them off around the middle to form a tinsel Pom Pom! Then tie or hot glue to a toothpick or wooden skewer! So simple!
+ Cute champagne flutes – these aren’t just for adults. I see my girls’ eyes light up when they get anything a little extra fancier than usual! You can go with plastic, if that’s a safer bet. I love adding sparkling grape juice! We are going extra special this year with sugar rims and cotton candy.
+ Party hats/ crowns/ horns – I’ll lay these out on the table for the kids to choose their own.
+ Sparklers – We don’t save these just for the 4th of July! Sparklers outdoors are such a magic and whimsical way to celebrate NYE!
