Chocolate covered CandyCanes & Hot Cocoa

This time of year, I’m always looking for simple ways to make lasting memories with my kids. Hot chocolate by the fire is just as magical for them as it is for me!

Some things that I did to make the whole experience a little extra special:

+ I melted chocolate on the stove top and dipped our candy canes in. Such a fun treat to stir our hot chocolate with.

+ We pick out our favorite holiday movie, and have festive treats, picnic style by the tree. It’s these little things that will stay with our children in their memories for a lifetime.

+This season is about you too, mama. Soak it all in, get into the photos with your kiddos, bake the special treats that you enjoy, put on your coziest Christmas jammies and take the magic in, if even for a moment.
