I hold these memories close to my heart, these traditions that we carry on each year.
With each autumn they’ve grown a little taller, and my heart simultaneously swells with pride and aches for how fleeting these moments are.
Few things feel more nostalgic than a visit to the pumpkin patch! This year it felt especially beautiful to carry on this tradition and to feel lost in normalcy for a bit.
I’ll never take for granted this time together. Even in the midst of change, they will forever remain a safe and stable place where my heart can rest.
Hold them closely, mamas. And at the same time, know that your joy matters too – never lose sight of the kid within you!!!
Being able to capture and freeze these sweet memories and moments is so incredibly important to my heart. Here are a few tips as you had out for some sweet pumpkin pictures as a family!
1. Morning or Sunset: “Golden hour” at the end of the day is the BEST time to shoot content- capture photos and video. The light is soft and beautiful and makes everything dreamy. ✨ Time of day is huge when it comes to capturing sweet photos.
2. Explore different apps. I LOVE the apps- Lightroom, the Tezza App, Inshot and Unfold. Check them outing play with an editing style that feels like a good fit for you!
3. Consider kiddos schedules! Remember going to take a few photos when its supposed to be nap time or they are hungry for lunch won’t be a good time for anyone!
4. Plan Fall outfits! Picking out some cute Fall colors for Pumpkin Patch pics gives them that added touch!
