Peeks into our Home

I have a creative spirit at heart, and I love to express myself through the way that I decorate our home.

It matters deeply to me that anyone who walks through our door can feel the love in our home. More than anything, I want our children to feel at peace, safe, comforted and loved – I want our home to be a true haven for them.

There are many ways that I layer creativity and love into our home. It’s important to do just that – layer. Don’t think that it all happens at once. Start with a few pieces that you love and add from there. Take your time, we are still layering and decorating as we go.

What I think makes the highest impact, and finishes off a space are things like art, quotes/words, family photos, antiques/ vintage pieces, color and unexpected pattern. These are the finishing touches that elevate a space to feel warm, unique, lived-in, and authentic.

These elements tell the story of the people that live within our home. We are living out our story each day, and our home is an important part of that storytelling and self-expression for us.
