Valentine’s Day Recap

I hope that you all had a wonderful Valentine’s Day! Making holidays special for our family, is something that is very close to my heart! Time is fleeting, so the memories that we make together are precious to me.

I want to encourage other mamas in this, we don’t have to do anything elaborate or over the top. Just togetherness, and a few festive touches were all that we needed to make our Valentine’s Day one to remember!

I started my day hosting Aiden’s party at school, we decorated cookies and played bingo. I sort of hopped from classroom to classroom, so that I could be with Apple and Ainsleigh as well! What matters most to me, is that I get to be part of these moments for them.

Once we were all home, I set the table with a cute glittery runner, and lit some tall candles for a candlelit dinner as a family. We made a simple dinner and served it up on the leftover plates from their school party (I told you, simple and easy can still be special!).

To end the night, we lit a fire, turned on some twinkle lights, got super cozy and watched a movie together as a family. These are the sweet, simple, memories that I never want to forget!
