New Office Reveal- a Big Surprise!

I went away for a few days last week to Salt Lake City for a work trip and when I came home, Chris gave me the sweetest surprise. He told me that he had something planned, but I could never have dreamed of all that he did for me, all on his own, in the most beautiful way.

In just three days, my sweet husband poured everything into creating the most beautiful office for me. He took what was his own office and made it mine. If that wasn’t enough, he created the loveliest space, paying attention to every detail, sprinkling so many personal touches in every nook and corner. I had no idea he had planned on doing this! 

As he took me through, showing me what he’d done, I was so overwhelmed, so filled with love and awe.

I had never felt so seen.

From choosing my favorite color to paint it, to creating small spaces with so much thought and care. The lighting and shelves, the space to add in art that I love, it all felt so truly me. It was such a wonder, and such an outpouring of love, I’m not sure I’ll ever get over the awe of it.

How he did it all in three days I’ll never know, but I will sit in my space, a daily reminder of the love of this dear man, and a heart full of gratitude.

I am going to be adding some art this week so I will do another post about that that process, so stay tuned!
