Every so often the kids get to have a “crazy hair day” at school and they have so much fun getting creative and thinking up fun new styles just for the day!

This year the girls really wanted “cupcake hair” and I couldn’t resist all the cute accessories to make it happen! We found the perfect little kit on Amazon and they had so much fun with it.

First, we pulled everything up into a ponytail, and then slipped it through a cut little paper plate (just cut a small hole in the center), followed by a cupcake liner! We did actually add a paper party plate first on the actual day! 

Twist the hair around in a circle to make a bun and pin ends in. Don’t worry about it being perfect, just hide the pins by tucking them under the hair and below the plate and liner.

Once you have your bun in place, choose a flower clip to use as the frosting and clip it into the center of the bun. Remember, it’s supposed to be messy, fun… crazy! My sweet girl loved this so much, and it was so easy to put together… I know your little ones will love it, too!
