On my high school survey it said my greatest fear was rollercoasters, I’ve always been so scared of heights. 👀👀. I see the adventure and bravery in my kids eyes and it blows me away. ⁣

We went to the Texas State Fair yesterday and they jumped with excitement about riding the Ferris Wheel. I had never gone on it before and didn’t want to miss the memory 😱. As we started to go up I started to feel the tears well up and there was no holding it back. I turned my face and cusped my mouth but the emotion was there. Not just tears in my eyes but a full out shoulders shaking cry. I clenched my eyes tight shut and made it around twice. When we got off we talked about being scared and being brave and can I just tell y’all one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen is letting your kiddos into vulnerable moments. So much learning there. It moves something in their hearts. ⁣

So tell me- Has anyone else cried at the top of a Ferris Wheel before?! 😱😭🎡🎢. 

  

Besides the Ferris Wheel it was THE sweetest day- we rode rides, ate cotton candy, brought home candy apples, walked around and just had a sweet day as a family.

It’s our Fall break and I am obsessed with us having everyone home under one roof! The Fall air has arrived here in Texas and the cozy feels are in full effect!

The girls helped me make Butternut Squash ravioli last night and we have little fun forts in every room. Adelaide is in heaven having them all home too!
