It’s nearly Halloween and we are loving all of the family traditions coming to life through the holidays.

We got our pumpkins and we had the best time ever sitting around the table, scooping out the seeds, and making our very own festive creations!

Setting aside time to carve with you kids is such a fun way to celebrate fall. Put it on the calendar! Life can get so busy, especially with school and extra activities, that it’s easy to let the days slip by and suddenly realize you haven’t done some of your favorite holiday things! So make sure you pick a day, and get a few things together to help everything run smoothly along with a whole lot of fun sprinkled in.

Grab a disposable tablecloth, all the tools you’ll need, a few wipes for easy clean up. I like making a fun playlist to set the mood, and some snacks that make it feel cozy and fun. Warm up some hot chocolate or cider, and you’re ready for some special memory making with your own little ones!
