We LOVE Trader Joe’s in this house, so many easy meal options ready to go! I want to share our favorite go-to taco night recipe with you today!! I’m Brianna, and I’m super excited to be writing on Casey’s blog today about our fave thing, TACOS! We have 5 mouths to feed each night, it can be challenging finding something everyone loves! These tacos hit the spot and are easily customizable if some like it spicy (parents!) and some not (kids!) If you don’t have a Trader Joe’s, you can easily adapt this recipe to fit what your local grocery store has!!
Corn and Wheat Tortillas (Sub with your favorite!)
Carne Asada
Mexican Shredded Cheese
Limes
Jalapenos
Mango Salsa
Greek Yogurt
Taco Seasoning
Instructions
We fire up the Traeger and toss the Carne Asada on - you can cook it however you wish though!
While that is cooking, I mix up a tablespoon of taco seasoning right into a container of greek yogurt (I choose the individual serving 6oz size of Fage 0% Fat Plain Greek Yogurt!)
Chop up your jalapenos and limes.
2-3 minutes before the Carne Asada is done, we add the tortillas to the grill.
Set up a buffet style with the tortillas, sliced carne asada, sauce, mango salsa, and all the other toppings you love. Super simple and the kids LOVE this combination!
Our kids prefer just steak and cheese, my hubs extra jalapeno, me extra sauce, that’s the beauty of taco night! Let us know in the comments if you give this taco recipe a try!
