We drove back from Missouri late ( from family camp) so that we could get home and continue to celebrate our girl!

It’s soo fun that her and Chris’ birthdays are one day apart…. we were so excited to celebrate him as well!

Early Saturday morning these adorable birthday number balloons arrived so that when they woke up they each had one waiting for them!!

I have already felt that lump in my throat start to form as we end our summer of adventure and start thinking about heading back to routines, activities and the school year ahead.

We loveeee school and I know they adore it so much but ugh, I just cherish this time all at home with all my heart so much. I have to remember that there are places for all of it if that makes sense. Celebrating these two was definitely a sweet way to come home though, grateful!

Also, I asked Chris what he wanted on his 40th birthday cake and he said a grandpa! LOL- for the record, I do NOT  think 40 is old but we had fun with this! We adore you Chris Wiegand!!!
