If you live in Texas you have probably/possibly heard of First Monday (Canton)… it is basically a giant flea market! Chris & I went all the time when we first got married and again when we opened A Little Artsy… you can’t beat the prices and everything there is amazing! Chris has been wanting to go to grab a few hooks and locks for the airstream, so we made a day of it! I always snag a few old bottles to put flowers in and Aiden found an old metal lizard that he loves. It was such a fun day and sitting here looking back through these pictures, my heart is so captured by the way Chris loves our babies. I mean.. I see it everyday…but it’s so sweet to see it captured and frozen on my screen.
I am coming up on seven years married to this guy in a few weeks and gosh…it’s been such a journey. In a weird way I think it’s getting better & easier the longer we have been together. He really is my best friend in the world and thinking about him not being around for 8 weeks makes my heart ache in a deep way. On our very first date the first thing I noticed about him and was smitten by was his smile. And when I opened up these pictures to edit, I couldn’t help but notice that same sweet smile in the pic above.
Thankful for everything he is to me.
so fun. for the past 3 years we have lived about an hour from canton & still have not made it to first mondays. Reminds me of first Thursdays in Austin. Hopefully it will happen soon 🙂
I've been married 6 years to the most amazing man and I will 100% second everything you said about it feeling easier the longer we're together. I know it won't always be perfect, but Nate is truly my best friend and always will be! Plus seeing him as a dad is incredible – I love it 🙂
How absolutely precious! You have such an adorable family!

We will have been married 10 years in August. It has flown by. But we are so different from who we were when we were first married. I used to be very rigid and afraid and being married to Zac has made me more relaxed and brave. He used to have a hard time communicating verbally and now I hear him in business calls and church settings and his communication skills are amazing – he says that's because I talk a lot 😉 It does just keep getting deeper. Love my best friend so much.
agree to that too. the longer I'm with my hubby, it does feel like it's gotten easier. We will be married seven years too, this december. I've never heard of canton!!! I am so going to look into this next year.
Canton sounds amazing! Love taking the kids to flea markets; we always find such great treasures as a family. Oh, and the cinnamon pecans are the best!
there are a ton of flea market/swap meets around here but i haven't gone in years!! my husband and i drove by one the other day and decided we might take the kids one of these weekends.
My sister has a shop in Canton! I don't know if it's the same but it's something about the first weekend there? It's called Little Ethans.
Happy Anniversary!

beautiful photos! you have such a gift that you are able to capture beautiful moments behind a camera lens. I hope that all your preparations for your travels are going well 🙂
It's always a difficult time to be away from your husband / best friend / confidant. and it's always a lot better when he is around. I feel the same way. My husband is in school full time and works full time too so he is always out. But when he is home, we make the most out of it. and when I see him with my kids, I, too, am smitten all over again.
Beautiful family.
