we were on tv

Photobucket

Hilary, a good friend of ours, called me a few weeks ago and asked if I would be interested in coming onto a local TV station and doing a quick 4 minute art project with her…I said yes and decided to bring Aiden along to help with the handprint project!

We arrived an hour early and set up all of the supplies… then went on about half way through the show and I was so nervous!! I think if we ever do it again I will feel a little less afraid now that I have done it once!
hopefully?!

It was live tv and Aiden made everyone laugh because he wanted to watch himself on the screen the whole time! He was so adorable.
I was so so proud of him, he did fabulous!

It was a fun experience and they even asked us to come back and do another one soon! So, here are a few pics from today :).
I had to include that last one… can you believe how much Apple is growing?!

**I wasn’t going to include the link because I feel a little silly and a tiny bit embarrassed but here it is anyways. click here.

    xo TJ

  29. Andrea says:

This is really cute idea for Christmas presents!! I am wondering what you used for the background texture? I took a painting class in college, but that was 10 yrs. and 3 kids ago so I can't remember- is it gesso or some other kind of heavy medium?? I love art projects with the kids. 🙂 I don't think they get enough exposure at school.
