fish, turtles & sharks!
For Chris’ birthday, Chris’ mama took us all to the Children’s Aquarium and we had an absolute blast. Aiden was in heaven!
Chris’ mama is super wonderful & takes care of us in a million ways so it was super special and fun to go with her! In the past, she has paid our mortgage when we couldn’t, fills our kitchen with groceries, pays bills when we can’t and has shown me in so many ways what it truly means to give, even when you have little.
Wow! You are so lucky to have such a great lady in your life. I can't even imagine how you don't feel guilt about taking her helping hand….I struggle with that…an inner demon of mine. I have a hard time asking for help and accepting it…I've grown up around people that "expect" it back in one shape or another so I just have learned to be miss independent and figure out how to not ask I guess..
I just wanted to say that in all of your pictures, you can see the Light of Christ in your faces. Yours, your husband's, your children and your mother-in-law. I don't know how else to explain it. You just SEE pure goodness in all of you. Too often in life you don't see that in others and it's a shame because it is BEAUTIFUL on you and your sweet, sweet family. May our Father continue to bless your {growing} family. **hugs** 🙂
i've been reading your blog lots recently:)…you're such a pretty lady and your family is just adorable:). great pics at the aquarium. i always think it's a hard place to get really good shots…maybe it's just the person behind the camera!;)
Your family is so presh! and i love how aiden is so amazed by the fish. People really take the little things for granted and its nice to see such a little thing, (like fish) make him so happy.
What an amazing mother in law you have. And so happy she joined yall for the aquarium…what special memories she will have with your babies! I love that Aiden calls turtles buggies! 🙂 My niece used to call escalators alligators…adorable.
what an awesome mother in law you have! That is rare (I am blessed with an amazing one too, thankfully!). Oh and everytime I see a picture of your hubby I cannot believe how much he looks like ashton kutcher. Are you sure they weren't separated at birth? 🙂 Looks like you guys had a great time at the aquarium!
Wow, how amazing is she. I am also blessed and get help when we need it. God is great and always will provide no matter what. I love your family. You are the cutest!
I have a mother-in-law just the same. She was in town visiting just this past June and paid for our car repairs so we could afford to take the kids to fun town with her. They really are a blessing!
I just came across your blog and I'm already a fan…I found myself scrolling and getting lost in your images and your art. I can't wait to see more and I hope you have an awesome day!
Love your precious growing family! And it is all because of your amazing mother in law. She gave life to the key element. And I am certain that she is feeling so blessed and loved in return. You can ask for no greater thank you than littles!
What a fun day! We've always wanted to try the Dallas Aquarium but have shied away from the admission price (maybe we could borrow your mama-in-law, haha!). Glad it was so fun!
awesome… i'm blessed with a fabulous mother in law too. she treats me amazingly and loves us so unconditionally. i learn so much from her and all her grace that she gives! so glad you have that too!!
by the way… which aquarium are you? the one right downtown or the one at fair park? i've been to the one downtown before and i think that's the one you're at? it's been a few years so i kinda forget some of the exhibits. my parents live near denton, and so we come down at least once a year to see them and always get to do some fun things like this. glad you all had fun!! 🙂
What a blessing your mother in law is to you!
