tirEd…

I have realized over the past year that God has a special plan for our souls as we become parents….a new level of selflessness. You experience this to a degree when you get married but when you have a little one….it is a whole new game. Today we went to Canton for the day and had an absolute blast. I couldnt have asked for a more gorgeous day filled with amazing quality time with my two favorite people in the world! When we got home though (Aiden had slept in the baby jogger and carseat throughout the day) Chris and I were/are EXHAUSTED and I just wanted to crawl into my big bed and sleep! But I have this precious little person…looking at me with these big, beautiful, blue eyes…. not tired and ready to play! Finally can crawl and go and on top of that grocery store runs, laundry, dishes! I looked at Aiden today and was thankful that he is so happy, and smiley and so precious to love….because today I am tired…. but he is worth it. He is worth every tired day and every sleepless night. And years from now I will wish these moments back…so for today I am thankful.

I love that Casey. I don't know yet, but I can see how it will be one day as a mom! {and I've been keeping a family of 4 kids for 4 going on 5 days….and it's been a blast but tiring. I can only imagine when it's my own kiddos. I would hope I will feel just like you!} love you BIG!
