18 weeks.
18 weeks yesterday with my little double rainbow.
Our kiddos have walked through our previous 3 losses with us. They saw my belly grow and change, they saw the sweet sonograms and heard our prayers. They watched as we lost and as we cried and hurt. They watched as we trusted God when we didn’t understand and they saw firsthand that life doesn’t always go our way. Sometimes it’s really hard and sometimes life hurts a lot.
They’ve also been a part of the sweetness with this new baby. Trusting everyday. Their prayers and questions and conversations are ones you wouldn’t wish on someone, but those where you can see their little hearts understanding. It’s been beautiful to walk through it all with them. They have seen us struggle and trust. I love that they will witness redemption firsthand.
