Girls Room Ideas (Adelaide’s Room Lately)

Our youngest daughter, Adelaide, has one of my favorite rooms in our house! It’s such a part of my heart to make our kids’ rooms feel special, cozy, creative, and like a safe place for them. Adelaide is our baby, and I wanted her space to feel nothing short of magic! For those of you who have been searching for girls room ideas I am sharing her room here with you all!

What little girl doesn’t dream of a canopy? When Adelaide mentioned that she wanted one for her space we went to work to find the perfect soft canopy that fit her room decor and added extra whimsy!

I love that it’s made of tulle. SO many cute tents here! Such a sweet girly touch! I love having little reading and play nooks in each kiddo’s room, and this is a spot that I often find Adelaide cozied up in.

+ Wallpaper +

Give me all of the floral wallpaper! Her wallpaper is The Adelaide from The CaseyLeigh Collection with Curated Walls  I love the vintage vibe and how cozy this makes her space! Take your time with choosing art to fill your home! I searched high and low for vintage pieces that would add character into Adelaide’s space.

+ Addie’s Vanity +

I love that this can grow with her, and also serve as a desk when needed. There’s something so sweet about having a vanity in a little girl’s room.

All of the layers of cozy rugs, pretty window treatments, fluffy bedding, cozy pillows — this adds texture, dimension and just an overall inviting and comforting vibe.

Choose A Style Full Of Creativity And Comfort

When designing children’s rooms creativity and comfort are always at the center for me. I want their rooms to feel like a haven. Somewhere that they come to find true rest, where they feel like they can be themselves, that they feel save and surrounded by love. I really feel like Adelaide’s bedroom embodies this, and it’s somewhere that I look forward to spending time with her!

Bedtime routines are SO important to us, I am a big protector of my kiddo’s sleep, and having rhythms in place. I think that this starts with making their bedrooms a place that they like being in and they feel safe and cozy!

When designing girls room ideas small spaces I love the idea of a lofted bed or even girls room ideas bunk beds. I know for certain my girls would love to see girls room ideas with bunk beds. They are often having slumber parties together, and this would be such a special touch for a future room design!

Layering in whimsy is also really important to me. I do this through art, wallpaper, textiles, lighting, and sweet toys and stuffed animals. There’s something that feels extra playful about Adelaide’s room, which is why I think it is one of my favorite spaces in our home.
