One of my many dreams for our forever home, was to have multiple fireplaces with beautiful mantles to decorate. I am a Christmas lover, and the dream of having these cozy fireplace mantles to decorate year after year makes me so excited for every holiday season to come! So excited to share our new mantle decor as it changes for each season with you all!
We took our time to plan out the small and larger changes that we wanted to make to each of the existing mantles. Chris truly took the ideas in my mind and brought them to life! I love that even though they are new, they feel like they were existing to the home. We kept each mantle design classic so it will have longevity for years to come.

The mantle in our living room was surrounded by white brick, has a classic squared off white painted wood mantle, and we have a Samsung Frame TV hung above the fireplace which fits well if you’re looking for mantle decorating ideas with tv. I love this option because it looks like framed artwork, but functions as a TV for family movie nights, or if we want to have a show on while cooking in the kitchen. Mantle decor with tv and mantle decor ideas were keywords that I searched for. For decor in our living room I added rattan basket , set of 3 vases, and pampas grass these give mantle decorating ideas modern.
We put a marble surround in and I think it really elevates the overall look of this fireplace. With every room in our home, I’m a big believer that you can never have too many flameless candles or twinkle lights. These are dreamy with real or flameless candles gold candle stick set of six.
I have a fireplace in my office that is really tall and grand. It is the focal point of the room, and I knew that I wanted to update it a bit. Once we added the herringbone pattern wood floors, the vision for the fireplace mantle came to life for me. We added a marble surround, a pretty brass screen, and probably my favorite new addition are the white tulip style sconces. Sea grass stacking baskets for storage are a fun whimsical detail to complete this space. I have one of my original paintings displayed in this space, a room that I often come to for inspiration and to dream.
In our formal living room we did our best to preserve and update the existing mantle. I love the vintage feel of what we have in there now and the gorgeous mirror that is displayed on top of the mantle, perfect for mantle decorating ideas with mirror or even mantle decorating ideas with clock. I also have blue hydrangeas in here. We come to this room to play music together, Chris on the piano, one of the kiddos beside him, and another on guitar. So many sweet memories already have been made in this space!
I’m so happy with how each of our mantles turned out, and can’t wait to share them with you at Christmastime!
XO,
Casey Wiegand
