Utah Travel: The Ultimate Girls Trip

Few things fill me up more than time with my girlfriends! There is nothing quite like a girls trip. My utah travel left me feeling refreshed, and like my most fun self!

I am fortunate enough that with Young Living I work with some of my best friends, and get to travel with them often for events and trips! A few weeks ago we headed to Salt Lake City, UT… It had been a while since all of us could be together, so we truly soaked in every moment.

A few of my girls’ trip must haves:

+ Fun Playlists+

The more nostalgic the better. Early 2000s, anyone?! Perfect for getting ready together or hanging out in our hotel room.

+ All of the Cozy+

Our hotel had robes and slippers, so that was extra fancy! But normally I still like to have a few of my favorite cozy things on hand. We spend more time in our room watching movies, talking, and hanging out than on a typical trip – so I like to have my coziest items!

+ Sweets/ Snacks/ Candy+

We grabbed pastries from the bakery in our hotel, I’m also known to love sour gummies and keep a bag of those on hand! I don’t stress about food on girls’ trips. I think it’s important to indulge and treat ourselves, and that balance is key!

+ Netflix/ Movies+

Some of my favorite moments are spent cozy in our room, watching rom coms and laughing until our stomachs hurt!

+ Good Walking Shoes/ Layers+

Salt Lake City is a very walkable town, so I like to be sure to have comfortable footwear. I also dress in layers when in Utah, as it can be warm in the sun, but the temps can dip pretty low for utah travel winter this time of year – a reminder when choosing a utah travel outfit!

If you’re ever able to visit Salt Lake City, Utah I highly recommend it! I’ve been several times now, and fall in love a little more each time! I’m sharing a few of my favorite spots here, just in case you ever make the trip!

Grand America Hotel

This is where we always stay! It’s so gorgeous and classic feeling! Theres usually musicians playing in the lobby, a really pretty lounge area, a gorgeous outdoor pool, and the sweetest bakery. Don’t forget to grab yourself some marshmallow lemon cake — talk about dreamy and the inside is the perfect utah travel aesthetic for utah travel pictures!

Pretty Bird Chicken

Seriously the best chicken sandwiches! You have to try! Add this to your utah travel itinerary.

Nomad East

SUCH amazing pizza here! Perfect for a night with the girls, and so many options!

Normal Ice Cream

We don’t skimp on yummy treats for our girls trips. The ice cream here is beyond delicious, and they have such fun flavors!

Copper Onion

This is our favorite dinner out spot. Upscale American food, small plates available, nice selection of cocktails — If you want to have a dinner out, this is a great place to try!

Coffee Shops

Especially for a day of meetings, or a day out on the town, some delicious coffee is a must! My two favorite spots are Alchemy and Three Pines!

Just walking around and exploring is often my favorite. Salt Lake City has such beautiful views, and utah travel photography does not disappoint with the gorgeous surrounding mountains!

I’m already looking forward to my next trip with my girls! One of the many things that I am grateful for in my business, is that we get to have these trips together throughout the year!
