Halloween was so much fun this year, with countless memories made! I hope that you had a wonderful holiday as well!
I was soaking up every minute with our precious family, knowing how quickly it all flies by. This is our first Halloween in our new home and neighborhood, and it was really special to see how our community celebrates! I look forward to many Halloweens in this new neighborhood of ours!
This year, we didn’t go with family halloween costumes, but instead each kiddo chose what they wanted to be, and I loved how creative their ideas were! Our Halloween costumes 2021 were:
Aiden chose to be free Guy, Ainsleigh was the most adorable deer, Apple was Glinda the good witch from The Wizard of Oz, and Adelaide was Barbie! The girls also had cute halloween nails! I joined in on the fun and dressed as super girl! I love getting dressed up with the kids, it brings back so many memories.
We went to my parent’s house (my childhood home) for a Halloween celebration with my brother and his family. It’s such a joy to see all of the cousins together! My parents (or as the kiddos call them, MeeMee & Poppie) are the sweetest, and made the day very special for all of us.
My mama had such a fun and festive big long table set with halloween decorations and place settings and treats for us all. I honestly think she’d put up halloween wallpaper if she could! My dad grilled burgers, and we truly enjoyed the day together!
It was a night of good food, pumpkin pie, fun music, that spooky halloween aesthetic, and family time! I love walking the streets at night, seeing all of the kids being kids, and having those special moments together!
Tucking away this weekend, and this halloween season into our memory book. After a year filled with change, it’s moments like these that give me so much joy and peace!
