168 film trailer.
I talked a lot about Chris entering a film in the 168 film festival this year. I am not allowed to post the film until after it is judged but I get to post the trailer today… it’s a taste of all the work he put into it!!
This year he wrote, cast, edited and directed the film all himself. I could not be more proud of the work he does. Each group gets a bible verse that they have to write their film around- this is what his verse was:
Luke 21:16-19
“You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers and sisters, relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death. Everyone will hate you because of me. But not a hair of your head will perish. Stand firm, and you will win life.”
Then he had 168 hours to create the entire film.

wow! that is seriously awesome! i checked out some of his other videos and they are amazing. i just found your blog a couple of days ago through the shine project. i moved away from dallas this past november and miss it like crazy. i really wish i would have gotten a chance to meet you before i left. but i'm praying God takes us back real soon.
such a great job! I love seeing talent! So inspiring. I know you must be proud! I'm from Wilmington, NC which is pretty film/hollywood intense (east coast-wise anyway) and I have been to a lot of the film premiers/festivals (like the cucalorus film festival) and I have to say this is definitely one of the best I have seen! (not that I am a pro by any means lol) I love your creative dynamic!!

Your husband is exceptionally talented!
As a mom of a future film maker I can appreciate all 168 minutes of working to put a film together. Casey, you know my son did a black and white silent film over a year ago, premiering his film to an 80-people, paying audience last May! This was before anyone even heard of The Artist! Anyway, my son's 15 minute movie took over 150 hours to make from start to finish – whew! People just don't realize what it takes. Tell Chris good luck and we'll be rooting for him!

I love acting so it is great to see and hear about Christian directors and writers out there. People using their gifts to glorify GOD. You guys are adorable.
