The more years I spend as a mama, the older my kids get, the faster it seems to move. Those “little” years… when anything seems possible, wonder is everywhere- they just speed by. Their eyes grow wider with every fairy tale, their excitement palpable as they anticipate every ounce of fun the day holds.

Sometimes as moms, it’s easy to let our time get eaten up by all of the needs around us, our to do lists, piles of laundry… but there is something so beautiful and special about getting lost in the magic with them. I remember at some point making the decision that I wanted to say yes more than no! Dressing up and dancing together. Little tea parties in the middle of the day. Letting our imaginations wander with theirs to create magical worlds all around us.

I never want to forget to drink it up, to get lost it in their worlds, to see things with their eyes. There is so much beauty all around and our kids see it so clearly – let’s never forget to get swept up in as often as we can.
