Last week we went and picked out our Christmas tree… made hot chocolate, put on the movie Elf and decorated for Christmas! This time of year makes me so incredibly happy. It’s so true that when you have kids around the magic of Christmas comes alive again in a whole new way. I just love seeing it all through their eyes.
The smell of our tree plus the hum of Hotel Cafe, Winter Songs playing is just perfection.
** in case anyone is curious: black & white rug is an early Christmas present from Chris, from IKEA (can find it here) and the lamb mat that Apple is on is fromhere!
i love this! i hope we have some little shugpies soon! you can sense their excitement in the photos. if anyone is interested, here is our christmas decor this year:
Just wondering… how do you manage to enjoy all the fun stuff with your kids (like presents,Santa etc…) but still make sure they know that Christ's birth is the reason we celebrate Christmas? I don't have kids yet and I just wonder how you and your husband have decided to handle that. Thanks!
So Precious Casey! I love it when you invite us into your home with so many wonderful photos. Your little ones look so excited to help prepare for Christmas, and Apple is growing so fast. Happy Tuesday sweet friend! Xo
